Delphi : The sanctuary

The sanctuary of Pythion Apollo. Built on the southern slopes of the Mount Parnassos, it faces the valley leading from Lamia to Itea and to the Korinthiakos gulf.
 

The whole site, as the pilgrims could see it when arriving by the road coming from the Gymnasium and the temple of Athina Pronaia.
